Official England Netball Website

Volunteering

EN relies on volunteers to help us in all areas, and they make a huge contribution to the game of netball. Volunteering is a rewarding experience, not only benefiting the club or organisation, but also the individual - developing skills for use at college, university or in the workplace. It’s a fantastic way to make new friends, and nothing beats the “feel-good factor” of helping out and giving something to your sport.

We value the volunteers and make sure that we show recognition and aid in their development of their skills. We give them advice and ensure that their achievements are rewarded in many of our activities:

  • EN volunteer awards and recognition - Goalden Globe Awards and Hall of Fame
  • EN development programmes - Nucleus and Nextgen
  • How to get involved as a netball volunteer - or how to recruit others to help
  • Support, training and development of your volunteers
  • Funding to support volunteer development - Small Grants Awards

Over the coming months this section of the website will be developed, so please come back to have a look soon! Developments to look forward to are:

  • Launch of the Share it! CD: ROM
  • Launch of the Club Volunteer Co-ordinator Package
  • Launch of the Young Volunteer Reward Scheme
  • Goalden Globe Awards 2007
