Job Description
England Netball has an exciting and ambitious vision for the future. We aspire to increase participation by 10,000 new women each year.
The Netball Development Community Coach team are responsible for initiating a localised ‘Back to Netball’ programme of activity particularly targeting women caring for children under sixteen and women residing in deprived areas in Bristol, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham and Wolverhampton.
Building on the principles of Back to Netball, the project will initiate and sustain regular participation of 12,000 new women into the sport over three years, The project will be delivered by ten full-time Netball Development Community Coaches who will develop (40%) and coach (60%) all ‘Back to Netball ’ activity.

Job Title Technical Coaching Team (a number of positions are available)

Salary Structure £30 per hour worked
£80 per half day worked (a minimum of 3.5 hours)
£160 per full day worked (a minimum of 7 hours)
NB - Camps or competitions requiring 5 consecutive days or more will be paid at the tour rate of £120 per day (all accommodation; travel and subsistence provided)
Location Time will be spent at the Netball High Performance Centers in Bath, Loughborough and Sheffield or at any other England Netball performance centre. National and international travel will also be required.
Type of Contract Fixed-term to March 2016 (subject to ongoing funding)
Job Description The Technical Support Coach is a key role within the delivery of England Netball’s Performance Programme. Each Technical Support Coach will bring skills and expertise within specific elements of high performance netball that will be used to augment the delivery by the England Coaching Team.
Members of the Technical Support Coaching team will be invited to deliver in a variety of environments - from the top of the excel pathway through to the national team.
In order to ensure that England Netball’s Performance Programme is delivered to a high standard and provides a springboard for success in international competitions, each Technical Support Coach will be managed by a member of the Senior Coaching Team.
The Technical Support Coach will be invited to deliver, where deemed appropriate to their level of specialism and expertise by the Senior Coaching Team, in the following areas of the England Netball’s Performance Programme:
- World Class Positional Days
- England Netball Evening Training
- Under 21 One day &/or multiple day camps
- Senior One day &/or multiple day camps
- Netball Europe Age Groups
- Planning / Strategic Days
- Multi-Disciplinary sessions
Successful candidates will be good team players with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work positively and as directed within an established high performance team. They will demonstrate integrity and be ethical in approach, respecting and protecting confidential information, adhering to policies and demonstrating loyalty to England Netball and the high performance team.
