Clubs

Clubs are the lifeblood of netball in this country.  Our 2008 clubs survey told us that:

  • 59% of netball clubs would like more volunteers
  • Clubs would like more communication from EN particularly regarding funding
  • New and smaller clubs would like more support as would those that do not have junior members
  • Netball Clubs have on average 10 volunteers helping out behind the scenes
  • Most clubs have people interested in gaining more qualifications and developing their skills.

To the left you will find information on the new CAPs scheme which now fully incorporates Sport Englands Clubmark.  CAPs is also now free of charge for clubs to register and with a newly expanded team of county Netball Development Officers we are able to offer you more support, locally and suited to your needs.

Club Resources and Support has links to safeguarding and volunteer resources.    There are also some links to other information and webpages that you may find useful in your club.

An Adult Club Accreditation Programme is currently being worked on.  If you are an adults only club and would be interested in piloting the new criteria from January 2010 then please do get in touch.  See contact details below.

As always we wish to hear from you if you have found something particularly useful on the website, or if you would like to tell us about something that has worked well in your club.
