Courses and Awards
England Netball via their regions and Counties run the following Course/Workshops together with Umpiring Awards:
- Youth Award Orientation Workshop for teachers (this leads into the teacher being able to deliver the Youth Umpire Award to their pupils via the school curriculum)
Please note the following:
- Beginner Umpire Courses: England Netball affiliated and non affiliated personnel may attend these courses. However non affiliated personnel will not be covered by insurance.
- C' Award Courses: If the C award course is the first course delivered within a County then again non affiliated personnel will not be covered by insurance
- B' Award Courses: Only England Netball affiliated members may access this course and should hold a current C Award umpiring qualification
The following course has been developed to try and ensure that all matches from grassroots through to the top level eventually all have Timekeepers and Scorers - so that the Umpires do not have to keep a scorecard.
National Training courses
National Training courses are administered directly through England Netball for A Award umpires and Testers and Tutors.
