England Netball Taster Rate Affiliation 2011/12
Following its continued success, the England Netball Taster Rate Affiliation will again be available for "new" and "returning" members. The Taster Rate has been developed specifically with clubs, leagues and other organisations in mind that are running "welcome to netball" schemes, however the Taster Rate can also be applied to new and returning members joining existing Member Clubs in the 2011/12 season.
Members joining under the Taster Rate scheme will have access to the full range of EN benefits, including insurance and magazine. The Taster Rate will apply to “new” and “returning” members once only; the full affiliation rate will apply from renewal in September 2012. This category of membership is available to “new” or “returning” members who have not been a member of EN within the last three years, i.e. not since 2008/09 season.
Clubs will not be able to submit Taster Rates through the Online Affiliation System.
This year the Taster Rate has been set to give “new” and “returning” members the full benefits of EN membership for five months from 1st April 2012 to 31st August 2012 for a fee of £11.70 senior and £7.40 junior.
An additional fee may be payable for these categories to Regional & County Associations. Contact the EN Membership Dept on 01462 442344 for confirmation of these fees.

Membership Cards for 11/12 season are now available to download.
England Netball would positively encourage its members to login using their own Username and Password via the Individual Login Members Area.
If you are a member of England Netball and you are unsure of your Individual Login details then you can email us at affiliations@englandnetball.co.uk to request your Login details. Please use subject heading ‘MY MEMBERSHIP NUMBER 2011/12’ and quote the name of your Club or confirm if you are an Independent Member via a County, where we will respond to you direct with this information and also add your email address for you.
If you are Under 18 you can assign your Parent/Guardian email address to your record if preferred. We will also need a contact address and date of birth of the member for verification. All Club Secretaries will also be able to download and print their Club Members Cards on their behalf.
This new process will also mean that going forward the Membership Cards will be available to download immediately after a Club has received their England Netball Affiliation payment receipt email, which could potentially mean ‘same day payment / download Membership Card’.
If you have any questions or experience any problems with this process please do not hesitate to contact The Membership Dept. on 01462 442344 or email affiliations@englandnetball.co.uk

England Netball formally approves FastNet as 'recognised and authorised'
The top six netball nations played in the World Netball Series in October 2009 by new netball rules announced by the International Federation Netball Association (IFNA) as "FastNET".
Spectators witnessed some of the world's greatest netball, observing a fast, ferocious and vibrant competition raising the profile of the sport and attracting new participants and spectators.
A number of innovative rule changes have been introduced in this form of the Game, designed to test the fitness, technical ability and tactical awareness of all netballers. These new rules have aroused significant interest across England and have hooked netballers who are desperate to play the game themselves.
England Netball is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has formally approved FastNET as a 'recognised and authorised' version of the game of netball domestically for all netballers. Therefore, if any member of England Netball participates in FastNET, this will no longer affect their Personal Accident Insurance and will continue to receive full Gold cover.
