England v Australia at the University of Bath - Weather update

Ahead of the opening fixture in England versus Australia International Series in Bath, the Met Office has issued a weather warning for heavy snow click here - in and around the area.

At the moment the information we have received is that the snow is expected to fall for much of Friday before cloud moves in on Saturday and Sunday.

Therefore, with a day and a half to follow in between the snow flurries and the opening match, at the present time the game is still due to go ahead as normal. However, we strongly advise anybody that is attending the match to keep updated with the on-going situation by following England Netball on facebook and twitter links

We would also advise that those travelling into Bath consult the Highways Agency information click here - for the safest possible route into the University as the snow is expected to cause some level of disruption to local roads and transport.

England Netball is relying on the advice of multiple agencies as an indication as to whether the game will be able to go ahead; however, the safety of players, supporters and event crew are paramount at all times.

If you are attending the game on Sunday we strongly advise that you allow additional time to arrive at the venue due to the expected disruption.
