Volunteering opportunities at the National Schools Finals in Basildon!

On Saturday 16th March the National Schools Finals heads to the Basildon Sporting Village once again and with the anticipation rising we can confirm that we have some brilliant volunteering opportunities available on the day.  This event is always a spectacular showcase of netball and creates a brilliant atmosphere to be part of and now you can be!

Our Rose Buddies mascots will be attending and this is your opportunity to volunteer to become either Petal, Necta or Wild Rose during the competition, or to assist the mascots in their duties on the day. If you have a passion for volunteering and can attend the event on the 16th March then get in touch with us, the details are below on how to do so and become part of the National Schools Finals experience!

To become one of the Rose Buddies you will take on the personalities of each mascot, be aged 18 or over and wear the costume for a respectable time period.  You need enthusiasm and a sense of fun and a want to engage with the audience attending.  To become a Mascot Assistant your duties are to assist the volunteer in each mascot outfit throughout the day.

The two roles on offer are:

  • Volunteer Mascot Role
  • Volunteer Mascot Assistant
