Last Season finished 5th Premier league 2
Hertford Hornets Netball club was founded in 1973 and is one of the biggest and most successful clubs in Hertfordshire. Hornets currently has six senior teams offering netball of all levels to 100 ladies in the area and a thriving junior section with over 130 members.
The club has a team in the Premier League, which is a national based league and the highest level of netball for club players and a team in the top division of the East Regional League. These are very prestigious leagues to be in and we have the coaching and umpiring staff to help maintain this success.
Three other senior teams play in the Herts County League, and a teams who play weekly in the local Welwyn and Hatfield League. We also enter teams into mid-week leagues and offer weekly indoor training sessions to ensure that all players can benefit from playing different levels of netball and keeping their fitness.
Hertford Hornets welcome anyone from all ages & levels to come & train & join one of our teams. Hertford Hornets have started B2N training on a Thursday evening for anyone wanting to return to Netball.
Hertford Hornets Juniors have players ranging from 8 (year 4) to 18 (year 13). They attend training sessions from September to March on a weekly basis and play in Leagues and Tournaments throughout the year. We run a Junior tournament in April and a Summer School for a week in August. We work closely with the Senior Club to ensure clear progression for our players.
