What they say: “We exceeded expectations last season by finishing runners-up, our highest ever placed finish, and we stuck right with Academy until the end. Rosie Allison going to New Zealand will leave a hole in attack but with Sam Cook back from injury we hope to have that covered. Another key player will be our captain Jackie Gabriel, who really holds the defence together. It will be a case of rebuilding this year with new players and youngsters coming into the team. We are aiming to be comfortable in mid-table and possibly kick on and finish higher.”

Prediction: The return of Cook from injury comes at a critical time for Hucclecote as Allison heads to New Zealand. A mixture of new faces and young talent could go either way for the squad but with an excellent season last time round they will be eyeing one of the top positions again this season.
