Yorkshire Jets

What we say

It will be an interesting first season for this brand new franchise and with a team packed full of potential they may well emerge as the dark horses of the competition. As other teams have lost players, Jets have managed to retain the core of their squad and the fact that they have an additional year of experience under their belts will no doubt help their cause. If they can avoid injuries to key players and are able to get Yorkshire supporting the team, they may well be knocking on the door for a top four place.

What they say

Sian Foley: “We will be looking to push for play-off spots with our goal margins between the opposing teams competitive, showing improvement on each performance. Lauren Potter has had a really good pre-season and is in great shape, Jo Walker is showing some outstanding form at GS with two up-and-coming players in Natalie Haythornthwaite and Rachel Shaw proving to be the makings of a dynamic attacking force. This season will be the most exciting and unpredictable yet with teams experiencing changes in personnel. The Yorkshire Jets have managed to hold onto all our players with some promising individuals added to the set-up, which provides real strength in depth. With the most dynamic and young set up of FNSL, the Jets are chomping at the bit to get started with our clash of the Pennines at Thunder!”
