TeamBath - Champions 2009/2010 - South West Region
TeamBath won the Superleague last season, beating Mavericks 51-44 at the Grand Final at the Trent FM Arena in Nottingham. Victory in the Grand Final meant that TeamBath finished as Champions, despite finishing 2nd in the Superleague table.
Hertfordshire Mavericks - East Region
Hertfordshire Mavericks is a franchise based in the East Region but its players come from a variety of areas including London. The squad was established in 2005 when the Netball Superleague competition began.
Loughborough Lightning - East Midlands Region
The Loughborough Lightning setup is a franchise owned by Loughborough University, with support from East Midlands Netball. The franchise is based at the University and the team is made up from current students, Loughborough graduates and regional players.
Leeds Carnegie - Yorkshire Region
Leeds Carnegie play many of their matches at Leeds Met University and having finished 5th in 2009-10 and they will be looking to build on this progress for the 2010-11 season.
Surrey Storm - London & South East Region
Surrey Storm are part of the Brunel University sporting set up and are England Netball's representative from the London & South East region. With strong links with local London clubs the level of netball within the capital is extremely high.
Team Northumbria - North East Region
Netball opportunities at Northumbria are extensive and diverse, providing Netball for all levels at both participation and performance level. Northumbria University is home to the Team Northumbria Superleague team and also the leading North East University for the Talented Athlete Scholarship Programme for Netball.
Northern Thunder - North West Region
Northern Thunder have a new home venue in Bury, Greater Manchester. The Castle Leisure Centre is in the town centre and has a thriving netball community with one of the best local leagues in the North West.
Glasgow Wildcats
The Wildcats entered the Superleagu for the 2008-09 season, and had a strong debut season. They will be looking to build on last year, and with many Scotland internationals in their squad they will be a force again in 2009-10.
Celtic Dragons
The Welsh Netball Association was founded in 1945, though it is known that organised netball was played in Wales in the 1930s. The aims of Welsh Netball have always been to promote, encourage and further the game of netball in Wales.
