18 clubs ready to compete this weekend at Under 16 National Clubs Finals in Association with the British Army

The 2025 Under 16 National Clubs Finals, in association with the British Army, will take place at David Ross Sports Village, Nottingham, on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 May.

The competition sees some of the best up-and-coming young netballers from the top 18 teams from across the country go head-to-head to be crowned champions.

Both days of the competition will be available to livestream on englandnetball.tv, costing £7.99 for an all-access pass.

Fixtures, live scores and results will be shared on the England Netball website and will be available to follow on the Netball Connect app which can be downloaded here. For those attending the event in person, QR codes will be on display around the venue so that spectators can easily access the results page throughout the weekend.

All the teams have successfully navigated their respective regional competitions to qualify for the National Finals. Last year’s champions Turnford return this year to defend their title, whilst other teams to look out for include Kingsway Power who are coached by Netball Super League Head Coach of NIC Leeds Rhinos, Lauren Palmer.

  • Turnford – East winner
  • Herts Dynamos – East runner-up
  • Charnwood Rutland – East Midlands winner
  • Lincoln City – East Midlands runner-up
  • Aces – London & South East winner
  • AP Saints – London & South East runner-up
  • Grangetown – North East winner
  • Oaksway – North East runner-up
  • Kingsway Power – North West winner
  • Bramhall Netball Club – North West runner-up
  • Eagles – South winner
  • Weston Park Blades – South runner-up
  • Bath Cougars – South West winner
  • TTNC Warriors – South West runner-up
  • Sutton Town – West Midlands winner
  • Ryland Netball Club – West Midlands runner-up
  • Leeds Athletic Netball Club – Yorkshire & Humberside winner
  • Sheffield Steel Netball Club – Yorkshire & Humberside runner-up

For part one of the competition, teams are grouped by their finishing place within their region. There are six sections with each one containing a winner and two runners-up or vice versa.

For parts two and three of the competition, teams will be regrouped according to their placing within their respective group after mini round-robins against all other teams.

The final stage sees matches played out to decide the final standings, including semi-finals and a final.

A number of England Netball partners will be in attendance at the event, with many supplying essential equipment and resources to elevate the experience for all attendees. The British Army, who are the principal partners of the event, will be in attendance throughout the weekend where they will be engaging with players, sharing information about the important work they do in the community and providing fun challenges for players to get involved with between matches with their batak wall activation.

Physique Management will be providing an England Netball approved first aid kit for the winning team along with prizes for all players on the winning team. Perform Better will be providing warm up bikes for participants to use at the tournament, whilst Gilbert will be supplying the match balls.

In addition, Collection Cosmetics will be supplying product samples for attendees to try out and Here We Flo will be providing period products in toilets at the venue.

Finally, attendees will be able to find out more about SportsTours 2025 netball tours with leaflets available at the welcome desk of the event.
