England Netball is keen to address areas of under-representation throughout the sport and particularly welcomes applications from ethnically diverse communities, disabled people, individuals under 30 years old and people from the LGBT+ community.
Should you require application forms in an alternative format or any adjustments to be made throughout the application process or upon appointment, please contact HR@englandnetball.co.uk
England Netball also operates a guaranteed interview scheme for disabled applicants.
Should you require application forms in an alternative format/language or any adjustments to be made throughout the application process or upon appointment, please contact HR and we will make every effort to meet your specific requirements.
The majority of our interviews are held at our Loughborough Head Office or online. There is accessible parking available, and interviews are usually held on the ground or third floor, with lift access available. On occasion, some positions will be interviewed elsewhere, however we ensure accessible parking and access is available. Alternative interview locations will be communicated prior to interview.
As part of being a Disability Confident employer we also guarantee to interview anyone with a disability whose application meets the minimum criteria for the post. By ‘minimum criteria’ we mean that you must provide us with evidence in your application form which demonstrates that you generally meet the level of competence required for each competence, as well as meeting any of the qualifications, skills or experience defined as essential in the person specification. England Netball is committed to the employment and career development of disabled people.
You’re disabled under the Equality Act 2010 if you have a physical or mental impairment that has a ‘substantial’ and ‘long-term’ negative effect on your ability to do normal daily activities.
What ‘substantial’ and ‘long-term’ mean:
‘Substantial’ is more than minor or trivial, eg. it takes much longer than it usually would to complete a daily task like getting dressed
‘Long-term’ means 12 months or more, eg. a breathing condition that develops as a result of a lung infection
Any false declaration of disability to obtain an interview will subsequently invalidate any offer of a post.
