2024 Rules of Netball update – 05/09/2024
Following an extensive consultation period, World Netball have updated the Rules of Netball. These updates will become effective for international matches from 1st January 2024 and will include the Nations Cup later in January. England Netball has made the decision to also implement the 2024 Rules in the Netball Super League this year, which will give our elite athletes and coaches, umpires, and technical officials the best platform for continued international success and to provide the netball family with the opportunity to see the 2024 updates in practice.
For us to update our educational materials and offer training materials to the netball family, domestic implementation in England will be from 1st September 2024. This means that all recognised and authorised netball must continue to be played to the 2020 Rules of Netball until this time.

All sessions are free and hosted on the England Netball YouTube channel with no prior registration required. Important information is shared on a scrolling page 5 minutes prior to the start of the session.

Session Registration
Please use the link below to register your attendance for today’s session. Please note this link will open 24 hours before the date of the session and close 5 minutes after the start of the session, so please register in good time. You will be required to attend the session for the full duration and complete both registration processes to gain access to a certificate of attendance.
Certificate of Attendance Request
Please use the link below to request your certificate of attendance for today’s session. You are required to have registered your attendance no later than the first 5 minutes of the session and need to have attended the full session to be able to request your certificate. You will also be required to enter the password shared at a specific point during the session to validate your request.
Please note you will have up to 10 minutes following today’s session ending to request your certificate before the process closes. Certificates will be sent no later than 5 working days following the date of your session. We would urge attendees to check their junk mail box if they do not receive the certificate and contact us after 5 working days if the certificate has still not arrived.

Certificate of Attendance Request (Contact and Game Management session)
