Commonwealth Games champions Jo Harten, Serena Guthrie and Geva Mentor are all set for the 2018 Super Netball finals series, which will take place over the weekends from Saturday 11th to Sunday 26th August.

After the completion of Super Netball Round 14, the major semi-final (1st v 2nd) and minor semi-final (3rd v 4th) match-ups were confirmed.

As minor premiers, GIANTS Netball have been rewarded with hosting rights of the major semi-final, which will determine who goes directly through to hosting the grand final.

England Roses Harten and Guthrie will face West Coast Fever on Saturday 11th August – GIANTS Netball finished the regular season with a thrilling 69-66 win over West Coast Fever, securing the Minor Premiership and locking in a home major semi-final.

Meanwhile, Mentor’s Sunshine Coast Lightning, the 2017 champions, will come up against Queensland Firebirds in the minor semi-final.

The minor-semi final is an elimination match, with the winner taking on the loser of the major semi-final in the following week’s preliminary final (Sunday 19th August) to play off for a grand final spot.

The grand final will then take place on Sunday 26th August.
