Join our star-studded panel for a Netball Natter

We have an exciting opportunity for a limited number of members to join us for our next Netball Natter show, with netball icons Rachel Dunn, George Fisher and Beth Cobden, as well as Vitality Roses Performance Lifestyle Advisor Maimee Morris and Sarah Ellis, co-author of The Squiggly Career book and podcast, as well as the the co-founder of Amazing If, an award-winning career development company with a mission to make work better for everyone. 

Together they will be talking about the power of a positive mindset and how to grow as individuals and become happier and healthier. 

Be inspired, motivated and listen to some incredible stories and tips from this amazing group of women to help put a spring in your step and learn how to be kind to yourself in difficult times as we journey out of lockdown 3.0.

The show will take place on Wednesday 10 March at 12.30pmlast 45 minutes and be live over Zoom with only a small number of spaces open to England Netball members to watch and ask questions.

Ahead of Wednesday’s event, meet the panel of inspiring women 

Di Dougherty – Sky Sports Presenter 

Di is a familiar face to the Netball Family, fronting Sky Sports’ coverage of the Vitality Netball Superleague 2021 and recent Vitality Roses internationals. She also hosted the Vitality Netball World Cup 2019. Her television career has spanned more than 15 years, with her first presenting role on Sky Sports News back in 2005.  

Rachel Dunn – Wasps Netball 

Rachel balances elite netball with her career as a genetic technologist for the NHS. She has played in the Vitality Netball Superleague since its inception in 2005, winning a record seven league titles to date. She has made over 90 appearances for England, winning three World Cup and two Commonwealth Games bronze medals. 

George Fisher – Southern Steel and Vitality Roses 

George has been part of the setup at England Netball since the age of 14. After several years of representing her country at the likes of U21 Netball Europe and the Netball World Youth Cup in 2017, where she won a bronze medal, she made her senior debut when she was 19 and has developed into a real asset for the Vitality Roses. 

Beth Cobden – Loughborough Lightning and Vitality Roses 

Beth has established herself as a specialist wing defence on the international stage since her Vitality Roses debut in 2016. She started all seven games at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast as the Vitality Roses won a historic first gold medal. After two long-term injuries, she returned to court during January’s Vitality Netball Legends Series. 

Sarah Ellis – Co-Founder of Amazing If and Co-Host of Squiggly Careers 

Sarah is the co-founder of Amazing If, an award-winning career development company with a mission to make work better for everyone. She is co-author of The Sunday Times number one bestseller The Squiggly Career and host of the Squiggly Careers podcast. She’s also a mental health first aider.  

Maimee Morris – Performance Lifestyle Advisor to the Vitality Roses 

Maimee is a Performance Lifestyle Advisor with the English Institute of Sport and is dedicated to working with individuals competing at the highest level to ensure they are supported holistically as people not just athletes. Alongside England Netball, she currently works with British Gymnastics and Boccia UK.
