Netball Anywhere goes Nationwide!

Our fantastic #NetballAnywhere project is going nationwide tomorrow morning!

As part of the I Am Team GB campaign, our regional coaching team in Leeds will be taking the portable #NetballAnywhere court to Armley Park.

The court has been on its very own UK tour this summer, pitching up in car parks, town squares and parks all over the country to get as many people playing netball and keeping active as possible.

Tomorrow morning there will be a Walking Netball session followed by a Back to Netball festival at lunch time with lots of players involved.

Not only will this be happening in Leeds, but people all across the country will be able to see the court in action as the BBC will be covering the event on their news channel!

Join In UK has been advertising all the events involved in the I Am Team GB campaign and the BBC decided to come and cover the netball event – great news for our sport!

The activity at Armley Park is set to be broadcast on the BBC News Channel twice in the morning – between 10.15am and 10.30am and an hour later between 11.15am and 11.30am.

What an exciting weekend we have ahead for our sport with this, the international team embarking on their first ever Netball Quad Series campaign (live on Sky Sports!) and the England Nets teams in the final day of their World Cup campaign!

Remember to tune in to the the BBC New Channel tomorrow morning to see our fantastic #NetballAnywhere court in action!
