
Paranetball Championship
Emma Rayner joined the Manchester Thunder pathway aged 13, having begun her netball journey at YWCA Bury in Manchester.
Progressing through the age groups, she represented her franchise in various competitions including the Netball Performance League (NPL) Tournament and played for YWCA Bury in England Netball's U14 and U16 competitions.
Rayner made her Netball Super League (NSL) debut in 2022, winning the NSL title in the same season.
Since then, she has been regularly around the Thunder squad, serving as a training partner in 2024 before making the step up to a full contract ahead of the 2025 season.
Rayner joined the Roses Academy in 2018, where she won Under 17 Europe Netball gold.
She continued to progress through the Roses pathway and was selected for the Future Roses programme in 2023. She was included once again in the 2024-25 cohort.
Rayner represented England at the FAST5 World Netball Series in New Zealand in 2024.
She has been elevated to the Vitality Roses programme in 2025-26.
