Isabelle (Izzi) Phillips first started out playing for Raiders Netball Club before progressing along the London Pulse pathway from the age 13 and went on to captain the under 19 squad in an undefeated season.
The youngster is proud of her South London roots where she grew up in Lewisham and her familial ties in Australia and Jamaica.
Following a broken leg that kept her sidelined for seven months, Phillips was called up to the England FAST5 squad for the Trinbago 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games, where they won bronze.
In the same year, she led England in the Europe Netball Under 17 Championship where the team was unbeaten en route to gold.
Ahead of the 2024 Netball Super League (NSL) campaign, she got the call-up to Pulse’s 12 and burst onto the scene, being named NSL Young Player of the Season.
Phillips also finished in the top four with Pulse, eventually claiming a bronze medal in the third-place play-off.
The teenager swapped to London Mavericks ahead of the 2025 season.
