Sophie Egbaran is no stranger to the spotlight.
Boasting more than 300,000 TikTok followers already, Egbaran - who can play goal attack and goal shooter - burst onto the scene at just 18 when she was part of the England team that finished third at the 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games in Trinidad and Tobago.
She began in the Wasps pathway, representing the franchise at U17 and U19 age level, and later played for Central Warriors U21s in the 2023 Netball Performance season.
There she was named Player of the Season after averaging 10 goals per quarter over 35 games before a stint with Loughborough Lightning.
The 20-year-old made her Netball Super League debut with London Mavericks in the 2024 campaign before making the switch to Rhinos.
A member of the Roses Academy in 2023, Egbaran was selected to the Future Roses programme for the first time in 2024-25 and was part of the senior England squad that claimed bronze in the 2024 FAST5 Netball World Series in New Zealand.
She currently studies Accounting and Financial Management at Loughborough University and is a devout Christian, regularly attending Sunday Church services and making TikTok videos on her faith.
