Manchester Thunder

Manchester Thunder is the North West’s Netball Superleague Club, playing their home matches at The Manchester Thunderdome, also known as Wright Robinson Sports College.

Crowned Netball Superleague Champions in both 2012 and 2014, Manchester Thunder are an ambitious and passionate club and always open to anyone who shares their vision. Six-time Netball Performance League Champions (U19) and the first Superleague club to set-up an academy offering elite coaching to talented youngsters.

On the 18th of April 2015 Thunder hosted their first netball match at the Manchester Arena attracting the second largest netball crowd ever at a domestic netball match. 4,100 netball fans watched a Netball Superleague semi-final in arguably one of the best atmospheres ever seen at a netball match.

Manchester Thunder hosts netball camps for any ability during every school holiday; aimed at 7-15 year olds, coaches and players give back to the community as well as keeping their eyes open for a Thunder star of the future.

Manchester Thunder always create a fantastic atmosphere so come along and join the crowd lovingly known as the ‘loudest crowd in Superleague.’
