Design options for parks and playgrounds, where informal games and netball activity take place.
According to research undertaken by Make Space for Girls (2023), many of parks and open spaces offer are dominated by boys, so we’re keen to work with anyone looking to make their play area or recreation ground more welcoming and accessible for girls.
To provide inspiration for those developing parks and playgrounds, we’ve developed some concept designs aimed at creating more welcoming spaces for women and girls living nearby.
