The All England Netball Association (England Netball (EN)) is a company limited by guarantee. Whilst it is a private company it operates as a members association and the National Governing Body for netball in England.

England Netball provides information prior to and during an event however the conditions set out within these terms & conditions are the principle overriding conditions.
Bookings are accepted on a first come, first served basis and must be accompanied by full payment of the event fee. We are unable to reserve places or accept telephone/email bookings.
Validity of membership numbers will be checked for all those who use the member discount code. If a booking is made with the membership discount code without a valid membership number for the 2015/16 season full payment of the non-member amount will be requested before your place on the event will be secured.
We require all places to be booked 5 working days prior to the event commencing, to ensure correct staff-to-participant ratios are met.
In order to process and administer your booking and to help us provide you with a more tailored service we need to collect certain information from you and your parent/guardian, including (where applicable) name, address, age, credit/debit card or other payment details, email addresses, mobile phone numbers, participation information and any other special requirements (including medical details) which may affect your arrangements. During the administration of your booking this data will be collected by EN. In making the booking you consent to the information being passed to EN and any other relevant individual/organization required to carry out the delivery of the event. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Should it be necessary for EN to cancel an event you will be offered a full refund.
Should you cancel your place on an event with a minimum of 2 weeks notice, a full refund will be issued after deducting a £10 administration fee. Should cancellation occur within a 2 week period of the event starting, a 50% refund will be issued. In the event of illness or injury a full refund may be given however a £10 administration fee will be deducted. Please note that a medical certificate will be required.
Payments returned by the bank are subject to bank charges. Any bank charges incurred by EN as a result of returned payments must be paid in full by the customer, in addition to the original event fee and a £10 administration fee.
Some changes to events may be necessary because unusual or unforeseen circumstances. EN have the right to change activities, e.g. due to adverse weather conditions etc. In the event that an activity needs to be changed, we will do our very best to ensure the alternative activity is similar to the booked activity.
In some cases potential changes of venue may be necessary. In these circumstances EN will endeavor to provide as much notice as possible of any changes. Any reasonable changes of venue resulting from unforeseen circumstances will not be classified as cancellation and therefore a refund will not be payable.
Behavioural Standards and Exclusion
EN expects all participants to behave at all times in a manner that is acceptable to both fellow participants and EN delivery staff.
EN reserves the right to exclude a participant from the event where they fail to uphold the required standard. Such failure shall include, but not be limited to, racial, sexual, verbal or physical bullying of a fellow participant or member of staff. No refund will be issued.
- Medical Conditions and Allergies
The participant must state in the booking information any medical condition or allergies they have, or any relevant background information that EN delivery staff need to be aware of whilst they are attending the event.
A parent / guardian must give written consent for the administration by staff of prescribed medication (including Epi Pens and Inhalers) but state that they fully understand that staff may not be qualified to do so and that they (the parent/guardian) accept full responsibility.
Participants must make EN aware of any restricted mobility, particular care requirements or disabilities at the time of booking. Whilst we will use reasonable endeavours to accommodate such needs, they cannot be guaranteed unless EN confirms this to you.
EN staff have a duty to act if they suspect a child in their care may be suffering from abuse or if a child makes a disclosure about abuse. In such an event, the member of staff will follow the Child Protection Policy as detailed in our policies and procedures including informing EN’s Lead Child Protection Officer of the concern.
Please ensure children do not bring valuable belongings when attending any events. EN cannot accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged items. Please ensure clothing and other belongings are clearly labelled with the child’s name to help us return unclaimed items. A record of lost property will be kept at the England Netball Head Office for a period of three weeks after the end of the event. If items are still unclaimed after this period, EN will distribute them to local charities.
From time to time we take photographs at our events that may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. If you would rather you were not included in any photographs, we must be informed either at the time of booking or in writing before the start of the event.
EN does not accept liability for sickness, personal injury or death of any participants unless directly caused by the proven negligence of the company or its officers. Organisers providing the facility are under no liability whatsoever in respect of personal injuries, loss or damage to property whilst attending any events.
Participants are covered by EN’s Public Liability Insurance.

EN is fully committed to delivering the highest standard participant experience. We aim to ensure every individual has a fantastic experience at any event and they cannot wait to return again. If you are not entirely satisfied with the service we provide, we would like to hear about it. If we are aware of any issues whilst still attending an event, we will aim to resolve this at as soon as possible. You can be assured that any complaint will be taken very seriously.
In the first instance, the complaint should be made to the event lead, who will look into the matter. If you feel the response to the complaint is not acceptable or you would like to take the grievance further, the complaint should be made in writing and addressed to: Company Secretary, England Netball, 1-12 Old Park Road, Hitchin, Herts, SG5 2JR.
