Over the last week, people have been using social media as a tool to get their netball fix.

The Netball Family have found innovative ways to stay connected during this time through shooting challenges, home workout tips and sharing positive stories online.

There was a hive of activity and debate over on Instagram Stories this week as Thursday Takeovers officially kicked off with a first for England Netball.

One of the Vitality Rose’s granted unprecedented access to their house as the Netball Family got to go ‘Through The Keyhole’ and guess who lived there with Helen Housby, Serena Guthrie and Kadeen Corbin among the names mentioned.

#TakeNetballHome with Gilbert

With netball activity suspended, gyms closed and outdoor physical activity restricted, it’s time to #TakeNetballHome with Gilbert.

To make the most of netball whilst self-isolating, Gilbert have a range of products from posts to netballs which will be discounted automatically at the checkout.

Bringing the netball court indoors

Social media has once again been a buzz with innovative and creative ideas from the Netball Family – none more so than Tyler-Sue, who managed to create an entire netball court indoors complete with playable netball posts!

The Alternative Superleague announced

The new Alternative Superleague gives fans a chance to not only back their favourite teams and athletes but also represent their side in a range of physical, mental and skill challenges.

Each team will face each other once as part of a randomly drawn fixture list before the top four compete in the semi-finals hoping to make the Grand Final.

And the first challenge is set to be a classic…

‘Level Up’ shooting challenge

Phoebe threw down the gauntlet on Twitter this week with a hugely impressive ‘Level Up’ inspired shooting challenge with the shots increasing in difficulty throughout.

If you haven’t already seen this, it’s definitely one for you to have a go at this week!

Eight-year-old Nellie took on and absolutely nailed the challenge (while wearing her PJs!) with her reactions bound to make you smile.
