England Roses squad aiming to defend Fast5 World Netball Series title named

Jo Harten will captain the England Roses as they look to defend their title at the Fast5 World Netball Series this October in Melbourne. The Roses beat Jamaica 34-29 to be crowned 2017 Fast5 Netball World Series Champions. Karen Atkinson (Head Coach) and Karen Greig (Assistant Coach) will lead the team for the event. The squad selected is as follows:

  New Zealand, Malawi, South Africa, Australia and Jamaica will provide stiff opposition during the two-day competition. The Roses previously won the 2011 World Netball Series, which was held under the older fastnet rules, but 2017 was their first Series title since the new Fast5 rules were introduced in 2012. The team will be in action on the following dates (placing matches tbc) – all times are BST.
