England Netball statement update – Coronavirus

Further to the statement issued on Thursday 12th March, England Netball has continued to monitor the outbreak and concerns around COVID-19 and, in light of an anticipated update on guidance from the Government, the England Netball Board will now meet on Wednesday 18th March to confirm the ongoing approach for netball in England.We are aware that the COVID-19 outbreak is a very fluid and rapidly changing situation. We are in regular contact with the relevant authorities and venues, franchises and all key partners and stakeholders to monitor the situation.During this interim period, we will continue to follow advice from Public Health England, the World Health Organisation and both local and national government on this matter. For more information please click here.The decision to postpone the Vitality Netball Superleague in the interim has been taken whilst we await Government guidance and convene a meeting of the VNSL Board and clubs.We will continue to monitor the situation and keep the Netball Family updated as appropriate.
