
A number of positions are available for passionate individuals to collaborate with us to drive netball forwards for those who deliver and coach our sport.
The England Netball Coaching Technical and Advisory Panels’ purpose is to support our communication and delivery of The England Netball Coaching Strategy. The board will provide connection with our audiences and serve to listen to the people delivering netball, so that together we can drive change and be fit for a world leading future.
These are voluntary positions that will utilise your passion and experience as a critical friend, enhancing the development of netball coaching activity under the new England Netball coaching strategy. You will be asked to offer independent advice based on your experience and knowledge.
We are looking for a cross-section of people who currently have coaching, host and leader qualifications, or aspire to in the future, with a split of geographical areas to support in driving our development.
You will be:
- Grouped with other people passionate about coaching and leadership.
- Asked for your thoughts and opinions, utilising your knowledge and expertise.
- Expected to keep sensitive information confidential.
- Provide independent opinion not for personal, business or financial gain.
- Motivated to develop netball and create positive change.
England Netball are seeking people who will bring:
- Knowledge and experience of coached, led and hosted netball delivery.
- An ability to respectfully challenge or scrutinise with clear rationale.
- A supportive attitude creating a safe environment.
- A highly developed sense of personal integrity.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence to back your own judgment.
- Ability to read and assess information and identify and articulate key points.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information securely.
- Listen to and respect other people’s opinions.
- Act as a team player.
