Introducing: NSL x Superdrug Online Doctor store takeovers

Proud partners of England Netball and the Netball Super League (NSL), Superdrug Online Doctor are taking over a number of Superdrug stores across the country and giving you the opportunity to meet your favourite NSL stars. 

Between 21 May and 17 June, select Superdrug stores will be taken over with bespoke NSL branding, life-size player images and specially recorded audio messages played on each store’s radio featuring the stars of the League. The stores that will be taken over are:

Leeds Crown Point

Manchester Piccadilly Gardens

Google Ad Manager – MPU – In Article

Bristol Broadmead

Wimbledon, London

Bluewater, London

Liverpool South John Street

Four stores will also be hosting meet and greet opportunities with players from their local NSL Club. In Leeds, Manchester (please note the meet and greet will be at Manchester Arndale, not Manchester Piccadilly Gardens), Bristol and Wimbledon, fans will have the opportunity to head to their local Superdrug store to see the in-store branding (please note there will be no in-store branding at Manchester Piccadilly Gardens) and meet visiting NSL players, all whilst showing their support for Superdrug Online Doctor’s ‘Don’t drop the ball on your health’ initiative.

Player meet and greets will take place at the following stores on the following dates and times*:

When? Wednesday 21 May, 15:30-17:30 

Who? NIC Leeds Rhinos’ Sophie Egbaran, Beth Brittain and Cassie Howard 

 

Where? Manchester Arndale Shopping Centre Superdrug, M4 3AQ 

When? Friday 23 May, 12:30-14:00 

Who? Manchester Thunder’s Nicola Smith and Elmeré van der Berg 

 

Where? Bristol Broadmead Shopping Centre Superdrug, BS1 3EU 

When? Wednesday 28 May, 15:30-17:30 

Who? LexisNexis Cardiff Dragons’ Georgia Rowe, Beth Ecuyer-Dale and Alex Johnson 

 

Where? Wimbledon Centre Court Shopping Centre Superdrug, SW19 8YE 

When? Monday 2 June, 15:30-17:30 

Who? London Mavericks’ Ellie Rattu, Vicki Oyesola and Izzi Phillips. 

 

This takeover of four Superdrug stores across the country will not only provide fans with the chance to meet inspirational athletes from the League but also signifies an incredible opportunity to elevate the profiles of NSL athletes to new levels of prominence. Providing the NSL with a presence in major high street stores as the League enters a bold new era will supercharge the visibility of our powerful female athletes and is certainly an opportunity that fans won’t want to miss. 

Thanks to Superdrug Online Doctor, there are also opportunities to win bonus prizes at each meet and greet. The first 10 fans to arrive at each meet and greet will win a mini replica Gilbert NSL ball that will then be signed by the visiting players and Superdrug Online Doctor are also offering fans who share photos and videos from their visit on social media using the hashtag #dontdroptheball the chance to win a £100 Superdrug gift card.
