Here are just seven of the core benefits of signing up as an England Netball member in the 2021-22 season.

Join the movement

Whether you’re a newcomer or an experienced Walking Netballer, signing up for an England Netball membership makes you part of the much-loved Netball Family, and part of the biggest women’s sport in England.

Netball has been on a tremendous rise over the last decade due to on court successes and the support of its members, both contributing to soaring participation numbers, greater visibility, and growth in the game from grassroots to the elite level.  Membership has directly supported the Vitality Roses and the development of the Roses players of the future, helping to inspire future generations of netball players and fans of the game.

After the impact felt by the global pandemic on our lives and our sport this is our time to come back stronger and more ambitious than ever before; so join the movement and be a part of our story as we look to take our sport to ever greater heights.

Safeguard the sport

At a time where the world stopped last year, the netball community in England stepped up to help ensure the sport’s future.

With no promise of getting onto court, thousands of netballers renewed their membership because they want to help our sport survive the uncertainty and challenges COVID-19 had on our game.

Indeed, England Netball is a not-for-profit National Governing Body which means that membership income is invested straight back into the sport at a local, regional and national level.

Get closer to the action

Elite netball in this country is more exciting and thrilling than it has ever been.

In 2018, the Vitality Roses won their first major international honour, winning gold at the Commonwealth Games in Australia, and followed that up with an incredible Vitality Netball World Cup bronze on home soil in 2019.

In 2021, the Vitality Netball Superleague season exploded into life and saw the world’s best battle it out in the most competitive title race since the league’s inception in 2005.

As an England Netball member, you will be the first to hear about tickets to the biggest netball events of the year including Vitality Roses series, the VNSL Grand Finals and other major events, with exclusive priority windows to ensure you can get yours before anyone else, bringing you closer to the game you love.

Exclusive discounts

England Netball is proud to partner with some of the biggest brands in the world including Vitality, Nike and Red Bull.

As a member, our partners kindly offer members exclusive discounts so you get kitted out for the season with deals including 15% off of netball gear with Gilbert, discounts on Nike apparel and 20% off all Harrod Sports equipment, plus much more.

Learn from the pros

Last year we launched our member exclusive Virtual Netball Club, our online offering to give you netball resources at your fingertips.

The VNC is packed full of strength and conditioning sessions with experts, insightful match analysis sessions from Vitality Roses Head Coach Jess Thirlby and the England Netball Performance team, U11 sessions led by our Vitality Roses and much more.

Netball Natter will give you a fresh insight into the journey of each Vitality Rose, while Coaches’ Corner with England Netball’s award-winning coach developer Sarah Green will help you plan your sessions with a new perspective.

These great resources, in addition to exclusive access to training courses and workshops, will help to improve your netball understanding and help you apply it on and off the court.

All of this online content comes free with your membership and can be accessed via the England Netball website.

Peace of mind

As an England Netball member, we will extend our programme of insurance to cover you for member-to-member liability and personal accident during your participation in recognised and authorised netball activity.

This means you will have peace of mind protection during training and match play, with comprehensive insurance cover.
