With things being a bit different this year and the Goalden Globe award nominations closing ahead of the nation going into lockdown, it felt appropriate to introduce a different award to recognise the significant proportion of this year that has meant netball activity as we know has been paused or delivered in more virtual ways.
If you know of a volunteer in a role, it could be a coach, official, committee member, COVID-19 Officer or other volunteer role then nominate them for this award. They could have made magical things happen in the Netball Family to engage, connect and enable netball to continue in a virtual way or by working closely with England Netball to ensure netball can #RiseAgain.
The #RiseAgain Champion award will recognise an individual or group of individuals that have delivered an innovative experience or approach to enable members of the Netball Family to overcome adversity during these challenging times. Please note that nominees must be a member of England Netball.
