Introducing the new Injury section on the NETBALLHer website

A brand-new Injury section with access to the best training techniques, relatable stories and expert advice on preventing, managing, and recovering from netball-related injuries has now been added to the NETBALLHer website.

Netball is a sport that empowers women both on and beyond the court. Unfortunately, injuries are an inevitable part of all sport at every stage of life and research carried out in netball found that 27% of women drop out of netball due to injury.

That’s why we’ve created the Injury section on the NETBALLHer website — to provide everyone with tailored support for all ages and life stages!

Through the provision of a necessary level of knowledge and support for everyone — including players, staff, coaches, officials and volunteers — we’re aiming to collectively improve experiences that could reduce drop out and increase the number of females playing across the different life stages.

Some of the content available in the new Injury section includes:

Did you know that full England Netball Members can unlock access to our centrally arranged programme of insurance during their participation in recognised and authorised netball activities?* Read your summary of cover for more information.
