Keshia brings six years of experience playing in the  ANZ championship with Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic, Northern Mystics and Mainland Tactix. She is also an exceptional all round athlete having represented New Zealand in both Rugby Sevens and Javelin.

Head Coach Robyn Broughton had this to say: ““I am familiar with Keshia Grant, having observed her play over several seasons. She played for the Tactix, Mystics and Magic in the ANZ Netball Championships and is a highly respected mid court player. She has a diverse range of sporting skills and I feel confident she will fit well with the Mavericks squad.  I look forward to coaching her and and anticipate her continual progress as a member of the Mavericks family. “

Robyn continued: “Selecting the final squad from a large group of talented players has been a challenge but I am confident that we have selected a group that will represent Mavericks in a positive and successful manner. The combination of experience and youth is exciting and we all look forward to the challenge in front of us”.

Keshia is everything a mid court player should be, dynamic, tenacious and powerful both on the attack and in defense.  Expect to see Keshia carving up the midcourt and supporting both the defensive and attacking units.

In Keshia’s Words:
