Netball World Cup 2019 draw confirmed for 15th September

The Netball World Cup 2019 competition draw will take place on Saturday 15 September at the Vitality Goalden Globe Awards.

The draw for the 16-team tournament will be held at Nottingham’s East Midlands Conference Centre and will see the eight unseeded teams drawn into four groups for the first phase of the competition (Preliminaries Stage One).

The top eight ranked teams – as per the International Netball Federation annual rankings from July 2018 – will be seeded into the four groups for the first phase of the tournament.

The tournament – which is to be delivered by Netball World Cup 2019 Limited in partnership with the INF, England Netball, UK Sport, Liverpool City Council and ACC Liverpool – takes place at Echo Arena Liverpool from 12-21 July 2019.
