Biography
Elia McCormick was chosen to be part of the Thunder Performance Pathway when she was fourteen years old.
After working her way up, she was selected to be a training partner for Manchester Thunder’s Super League squad in 2021.
During this season, she became a regular member of the match day team, making her top-flight debut and playing in twenty games.
Her performances saw her rewarded with a full contract for the 2022 campaign but during pre-season, she suffered an ACL injury ruling her out.
She returned to the Thunder setup in 2023 and has now been selected into the Future Roses programme for the first time for 2024-25.
