Ratnapala to take charge of England U21 Select team

England Netball is delighted to announce that former Surrey Storm head coach Kathryn Ratnapala, has been named in charge of the England U21 ‘Select’ team.

It is set to be a busy time for the young Roses as Netball Europe and the Netball World Youth Cup fast approach.

A selection weekend lies ahead for the England youngsters with two squads to be decided.

The Select team led by Ratnapala will head to Netball Europe whilst Emily Perry will be in charge of the U21 long squad chosen to represent England at the Netball World Youth Cup.

In preparation of the upcoming Youth World Cup, this squad will be facing a selection of Vitality Netball Superleague and other senior teams.

A full list of these fixtures and dates will be released in due course. The U21 World Cup and Select squads will be announced next week.

The 2017 Netball Europe U21 Championships take place at the Aberdeen Sports Village from May 12th – May 14th.

The Netball World Youth Cup will be staged in Gaborone, Botswana from July 8th – July 16th.
