The Vitality Netball Superleague (VNSL) is the United Kingdom’s elite netball competition. Running in the first half of the calendar year, 10 franchises from around the country play each other home and away with teams picking up three points for a win and none for a loss. There are no draws and games are played out to their thrilling conclusion.

The 10 franchises who will be competing in the 2020 season are, Celtic Dragons (Cardiff), London PulseLoughborough LightningManchester ThunderSaracens Mavericks (Hertfordshire), Severn Stars (Worcester and Gloucester), Strathclyde Sirens (Glasgow), Surrey Storm (Guildford), Team Bath and Wasps (Coventry).

At the end of the regular season, the top four teams qualify for the semi-finals, the winners then take each other on in the Grand Final! The top seven teams, along with the defending champions qualify for the British Fast5 All-Stars Championship in October. The 2019 tournament is happening at the Copper Box Arena on Saturday 12 October and you can buy tickets here.

The VNSL season opener gets the season underway with all teams playing at the same venue on the same day. This will take place early in 2020 and it is a showcase of netball to get the season started. Event details and the date tickets will go on sale will be released shortly after the conclusion of the Vitality Netball World Cup.

Tickets for the rest of the season will be released between September and November and will be sold by the home franchise.

The date of the Grand Final and the date tickets will go on sale will also follow the Vitality Netball World Cup.

The 10 franchises offer you the opportunity to see the top level of netball, inspirational athletes and incredible entertainment, so make sure you visit one of them in the 2020 season and see what the VNSL is all about!
