Vote for the Vitality Roses as Team of the Year

The Vitality Roses have been shortlisted for Team of the Year at the Sunday Times Sportswomen of the Year Awards.

The nomination follows their history-making victory over the Silver Ferns in September in which they secured their first-ever series win over the current world champions in New Zealand.

The Team of the Year Award is decided by the public with voting now open until Wednesday 17 November. You can have your say here.

The Vitality Roses face stiff competition with Chelsea Women FC, Europe’s Solheim Cup team, Hannah Mills and Eilidh McIntyre, Laura Kenny and Katie Archibald, and Oval Invincibles the other nominees.

Jess Thirlby’s side will soon be back in training preparing for the upcoming Vitality Roses Reunited Series against the Jamaica Sunshine Girls.

The two teams will go head-to-head at the Copper Box Arena, London (28 November) before the action moves to the Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham (4 and 5 December).

Tickets are still available for the Nottingham fixtures and can be purchased here.
