The Well HQ: Upcoming session on sports bras and kit bags

A study by British researchers in 2015 identified breast insecurities to be the fourth-greatest barrier to physical activity amongst women.

Many of those women surveyed mentioned feeling self-conscious and experiencing discomfort from poor-fitting bras during exercise.

With the new season fast approaching, the next session in the unique series of webinars by pioneering female health experts from The Well HQ will therefore focus on breast health and physical activity, as well as those other kit bag essentials.

Wednesday 18 August, 7:30pm – Netball and the Well HQ: Sports Bras and Kit Bags book your place now!

Open to England Netball members and non-members

It’s that time of year again, when we are all getting back to netball! But have you got the right things in your kit bag as you get ready to play this season? In this webinar, The Well HQ will take a look at the importance of a good sports bra – why we need a sports bra at all when we play and how to find the right design that fits you perfectly (unlike the 80% of women who are wearing an ill-fitting bra!). We’ll also talk about some of our other favourite things to pop in our kit bags! Finally, we’ll be revisiting the highlights of some of our previous Netball webinars from earlier this year to consider what you need to be thinking about to stay injury free, fit and healthy this season!

Dr Emma Ross from The Well HQ said: “The tide is turning for women in sport. What we now know about the female mind and body needs to reach women at all levels so we can see in a new era of success.

“It’s so encouraging that England Netball is primed and ready for that new era, and to support a generation’s worth of talent on their journeys in their sport and beyond.”
