Leah Setsoafia’s side won all four of their games to complete a clean sweep en route to the trophy once again as they did in 2022.

England U17 have been crowned 2023 Europe Netball U17 Championship winners.

The young Roses laid down an immediate marker with a dominant 81-22 victory over United Arab Emirates U17.

All 12 athletes got out on court in the opening game meaning five of the young Roses – Hannah Gibson, Neve Marsden, Isabella Phillips, Katie Rayner and Eleanor Sadler – won their first junior caps.

With combinations continuing to develop and confidence growing, England maintained their impressive form with back-to-back victories on Saturday.

They came close to breaking the 100-goals mark with a 97-23 win against Scotland U17 before accelerating away after a closely contested first half against Wales U17 to record a 71-32 victory.

The young Roses then made it four from four on the final day of the competition, running out 95-15 winners against hosts Northern Ireland U17.

Congratulations to all the athletes, coaches and support staff involved and a huge thank you to all at Europe Netball and Netball NI for putting on a fantastic competition.
