Can you help lead our Adventure? EN is seeking new Board members

England Netball’s ‘Adventure Strategy‘ is designed to accelerate the growth and development of the game at every level, from grassroots to elite. The objective is to boost the sport’s visibility, drive forward its professionalisation, and lead a movement to impact lives on and beyond the court. However, we will only achieve this purpose with the right people leading our sport.

England Netball is currently looking to appoint four individuals as Non-Executive Directors of the England Netball Board (including a Senior Independent Director).

We are keen to hear from individuals with demonstrable skills and experience, covering one or more of the following areas:

  • Governance &/or Legal
  • People (HR &/or Safeguarding)
  • Sport Professionalisation
  • Financial &/or Risk
  • IT & Digital Transformation
  • Innovation in Sport &/or Business

Two appointments will come from our Membership and take the role of ‘Nominated Non-Executive Director’ on our board. A further two will come from those not necessarily currently formally connected to the sport but with an interest in playing a key role in our development – who will be appointed as ‘Independent Non-Executive Directors’.

Regardless of the route to an appointment, we are looking for committed individuals capable of bringing energy, enthusiasm and the required skills and connections to continue the development of netball across England.

If you think that this is the role for you, we would love to hear from you. You can find more information about these opportunities and the Board of England Netball here.
