Late 2017 the PPC role transitioned from the Regional Programmes of the Performance Pathway into the respective English Franchise clubs (or regional equivalent) and was renamed the Franchise Performance Coach (FPC). The purpose of the FPC role is to develop players for competition at NPL and England representative sides aiming to achieve domestic and international success. The role includes the identification, management and development of talented players and facilitating their ongoing progression towards securing a place in the Roses national team.
