Although Essex lost two of their three games during the month, they could easily have won all three. They were 20-17 up against Linden but lost a tight game by 2 goals. Against Cumberland, Essex were missing key players, particularly in the shooting circle, and did well to keep the score close. Boosted by the return of Olivia Tchine, Essex secured their second win of the season in an excellent 68-50 victory over Oaksway.

Standout players

In the game against Oaksway, Tchine contributed 61 of their 68 goals. Essex were also pleased to see the return of Jasmine Odeogberin to the side after captaining England Under 17s in Australia.
