BBC 5 Live to commentate on Vitality Netball International Series

The Vitality Roses are delighted to announce that BBC 5 Live will be broadcasting the Vitality Netball International Series between England and Uganda from 27 November to 2 December.

The BBC will provide engaging commentary throughout the highly anticipated three-match series, which will see the Vitality Roses; England’s senior team, play on home soil for the first time since their historic win at the Commonwealth Games in April.

This means more viewers will be able to tune in to all the action by listening to BBC 5 Live or by watching all three matches on Sky Sports Mix.

Joanna Adams, Chief Executive Officer at England Netball, said: “We are delighted that once again the BBC and Sky will be collaborating to grow our wonderful sport.

“With both the BBC and Sky covering the Vitality Netball International Series it means we can reach a much wider audience and share the results of these exhilarating games via both radio and TV platforms.

“It’s an exciting time to be involved in netball, especially in the build up to the Netball World Cup in 2019, so we’re pleased to have BBC 5 Live spreading the netball fever too throughout the series.”

On Tuesday 27 November the Vitality Roses will go head-to-head with the Uganda She Cranes in the first game of the series, starting at 19.00 at the Echo Arena in Liverpool. The excitement will then move to the Copper Box Arena in London on 30 November, with a game at 19.00. The final challenge between the two teams will take place on 2 December from 14.15.

Don’t forget to tune in to Sky Sports Mix or BBC 5 Live to keep up with all of the action as it happens.
