Vitality Roses call for fan support vs. Uganda

The Vitality Roses have issued a rallying cry to fans ahead of the upcoming three-match Vitality Netball International Series against Uganda.

England are playing once at the Echo Arena in Liverpool – home of the Netball World Cup 2019 – and twice at the Copper Box Arena in London.

And the players want to see the venues full with their eighth player as they face tough opposition.

The Roses last came up against Uganda on their way to Commonwealth Games gold in April in a closely-fought 55-49 win.

Discussing the She Cranes, Sasha Corbin said: “Uganda are a great team – they’re very physical.

“They’re strong athletes and work extremely hard to hold that ball from us and keep possession all the way until they score.

“It’ll be a really tough series – we’re looking forward to the challenge and need your support.”
