Details of the Vitality Netball Superleague (VNSL) 2020 Grand Final have been announced. After 19 rounds of action and two semi-finals, the Grand Final will take place on Saturday 4 July at Copper Box Arena, London. Tickets for the season’s showpiece event are always sought-after and, after record-breaking sales for the VNSL's Season Opener, the Copper Box Arena will be centre stage once again as fans flood to London to see history be made. England Netball members receive a seven-day exclusivity window to purchase their tickets, these will go on sale from 10am on Friday 21 February. Members also receive a 10% discount on tickets, excluding premium and hospitality packages. Tickets will go on general sale on Friday 28 February at 10am and can be purchased here. All 10 franchises will take to the court at the Season Opener at Arena Birmingham on Saturday 22 February and begin their campaign to reach the final. After 19 rounds, the top four sides will qualify for the semi-final with the highest-ranked team playing fourth and second taking on third-place. The winning semi-finalists will then battle it out for the Superleague trophy with the winner being crowned as the 15th champion. Reigning champions Manchester Thunder will be setting out to retain their title but their rivals will be set on depriving them of winning back-to-back titles for the first time in their history. Speaking to Sky Sports, Manchester Thunder goal shooter and Vitality Rose Eleanor Cardwell said: “We all believe, 100%, that we can achieve back-to-back titles. "That's always the aim. That's always been the aim when we won it back in 2012 and 2014. It's just the next step that we need to do." With the top four teams guaranteed a place at the Copper Box Arena, whether it is in the final or third-place game, it looks set to be a fantastic event. Saracens Mavericks Director of Netball, Kat Ratnapala, is keen to make it and they will certainly be ones to watch: "The last couple of years have been such a disappointment. For us to finish fifth two years in a row, we know we are better than that." Whoever reaches the final one thing is for sure, the next 21 weeks are going to be full of twists and turns as we look forward to another thrilling Superleague season.
