Mentor and Housby sign on for 2022 and 2023 Super Netball seasons

Vitality Roses Geva Mentor and Helen Housby have both agreed new Suncorp Super Netball deals.

The Commonwealth Games champions have penned two-year contracts which will see them remain with Collingwood Magpies and NSW Swifts respectively until the end of 2023.

In her third season as Magpies captain, Mentor joined the prestigious 200 games club and featured in all but one game in 2021.

The Magpies’ dual best and fairest winner will gear up for her 15th season in Australian netball next year.

An accomplished shooter and link player, Housby has played 66 games for the Swifts since making her debut.

She has won two Premierships in three years and made a title-sealing intercept against the Giants in the 2021 Grand Final in Brisbane.

Fellow double NSW Swifts Premiership champion Natalie Haythornthwaite has decided to return home to England after four successful years in Australia.

All Suncorp Super Netball squads must be finalised by October 8.
