Preparing for the Next Stages

As you will have read, England Netball is still working hard with the medical team and performance analysts to ensure we understand all the risks and how we will mitigate these before submitting our plan to Government and Public Health England. To avoid confusion full guidance, in line with the permissions we are afforded by Government, will be available imminently once this is safely concluded.

There are however a number of important tasks that we know will be needed, and that clubs and leagues can very much be preparing for now. The following items will help you with this:

A guide to booking your facility during COVID-19 We do encourage clubs to begin to book facilities as and when they open. We are anticipating high demand on facilities and as such would encourage clubs to make bookings. There are however a number of key questions and things to consider as a result of COVID-19.
COVID-19 Officer role description Every club, team, league, county and region will be required to have a COVID-19 Officer who will continually monitor how compliance is being observed within their netball environment. There will be support available for this critical network. This role description should be used.
Guidance and support to appointing a COVID-19 Officer Practical tips, hints and ideas to ensure you are able to appoint an appropriate  COVID-19 Officer
Financial Planning Tool Many clubs will be very used to annually planning their finances to identify the appropriate club fees to charge. COVID-19 may lead to both income and expenditure looking different to previous seasons. This tool is designed to help you consider these costs. Please note: England Netball is not providing any financial advice through this template.
