The new netball season is fast approaching and after all the uncertainty and challenges over the past 18 months, this is our time to play with hope, and happiness, to grow and set bold new goals for ourselves and our sport.
Whether you’re supporting a junior netballer or are restarting Back to Netball yourself, we’ve got lots of brilliant Virtual Netball Club (VNC) sessions as part of our pre-season programme to help you be court ready for 2021/22.
It’s important to remember that everyone’s fitness levels will be very different at the moment so be kind to yourself, work at your own pace (it’s ok to take things slowly) and incorporate plenty of active breaks (e.g. walking or stretching).
Don’t forget to complete a dynamic and progressive warm-up, including mobility work, before you start a session and leave time for a full cool down at the end.

Injury Reduction
Julie Snow, Vitality Roses physiotherapist, takes you through a series of exercises that can help your transition back into netball training with a specific focus on hip and lower back, ankle, and lower limb injury reduction
